HANOI STREETLIFE
The main thing I love about Hanoi is the hustle and bustle out on the streets. It's alive with activity and such brilliant vibrancy, no matter what time of day or night. Some local marketeers begin setting up their wares at 1am and by 3am the market is a hive of activity with the locals buying fresh food each day. Luckily for us there are plenty of others that have a later start in the morning. Bed and breakfast beckoned before we hit the streets!
Vietnam isn’t all bustling streets and markets. Around Nha Trang there are salt fields and sand dunes. Small villages with the most interesting characters. My favorite is an 93 year old man who is a child at heart. He takes great pleasure posing for photographers and his photo is my favorite portrait that I have taken to date. After we finished he went to climb a tree to gives us some fruit…..he’s 93 years old!!!!
